Moms, I know you spend most of the time capturing the photos of your own kids. Maybe you do a family session once in a while, but even then your focus may be on checking everyone’s hair, making sure everyone is smiling, and getting wonderful photos of the whole family. While these are great memories, having a specific mommy and me session allows for time to capture the fun and sweet sides of the relationship between your child and yourself.

Mommy and Me sessions are meant to capture the connection between you and your child. Maybe there is something just the two of you like to do together, like read books or play specific games. Maybe you like to be goofy together and make funny faces! While it can be as simple as the two of you interacting like the photos below, you can also consider what makes your relationship different and special at this point in time.

Moments fly by in life, but photographs can capture these moments, big or little, and pause them for us to look back on. I hope you consider stepping in front of the camera this month to be a part of the captured moments!

Happy Mother’s Day!
